RIPPA R10/R18/R22/R32/R328 Rake Structure Optimization — Effective July 30, 2026

RIPPA has completed a structural optimization of the rake attachments used on the R10, R18, R22, R32 and R328 excavators.

The previous rake design had several areas requiring improvement, including difficult positioning of the square-tube baffle during welding, limited structural strength of the rake tines, and insufficient interchangeability of rake tine components between different models.

The updated design includes three key improvements:

• The square-tube baffle is relocated to the end of the square tube for easier positioning and improved welding efficiency.
• Reinforcing ribs are added between the rake tines to increase structural strength and durability.
• Rake tine specifications are standardized according to machine models to improve component versatility.

This technical change became effective on July 30, 2026. Related engineering drawings, supplier specifications, inspection requirements, and production standards have been updated accordingly.

If a newer engineering change, revised drawing, production standard, or official notice is issued for the same component, the latest approved specification will take precedence, and this technical change notice will no longer apply.
